Homadic is a family café in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, and the controller for the data described here. You can reach us anytime at info@homadic.com or at Rua Carlos Neves 25 A, Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.
If you accept the cookie banner, we set one small first-party cookie with a random id so we can count visits, see which pages people read and tell new visitors from returning ones. That is all it does.
The statistics stay with us: no advertising, no profiles, no third-party analytics companies, and we never try to work out who you are. If you decline, nothing is tracked. You can change your mind anytime via the cookie settings link in the footer.
When you write to us by email or WhatsApp, for a job, a private event or anything else, we receive what you send: your name, contact details and the message. We use it only to reply and to handle your request. Job application emails are kept for up to a year unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
WhatsApp conversations are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own terms; we only see what you send to our number.
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any host, Vercel keeps short-lived technical logs (including IP addresses) to run and secure the service. We use these only for security and operations.
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict data about you, and object to processing. Withdrawing your analytics consent is as easy as giving it: use the cookie settings link in the footer.
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt). But do write to us first, we will sort it out.
